About Us

Dew drops yoga is me, Louise Dewsbury. It’s named after my surname Dewsbury as our children remind us that like Drops of Dew in the morning, each day is a new day. Dew drops yoga is an opportunity for a fresh start every day to reconnect with ourselves and love our mind and bodies.I have been a primary school teacher since 2009 having taught in inner city schools from F2 up to year 6. After having my first child I trained as a Yogabeez associate children’s yoga teacher in 2020 and began to teach yoga in Eyfs in schools. My ethos as a teacher is to be happy, humble, accepting and consistent. The aim of Dew drops yoga is to nurture the whole child- educating, exercising and empowering each one of them equally. Emotionally I encourage interaction with others (family and friends) through partner and group poses but also exploring and looking within- finding your inner silence and being at peace with your self. Physically we are strengthening our bodies, awakening senses and balancing the body’s intricate systems. “We seek to sow life in the child rather than theories” Maria Montessori
